About Adam Jarrett
Adam Jarrett is running for the District 3 seat on the St. Lawrence County Board of Legislators. A physician, he moved his family to Ogdensburg more than 20 years ago to become chief medical officer at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center, a post he held from 2005 to 2010 before serving in the same role at Holy Name Medical Center until 2022. He now practices at the Claxton-Hepburn Wound Care Center. He holds a bachelor's degree from Union College, a medical degree from George Washington University and a master's degree from New York University. He co-chairs the Morristown Democratic Committee and has volunteered as a Cub Scout leader and religious education teacher. His campaign says he would put the county's large reserve fund to use, offer tax holidays and inflation relief, restore public health services, improve government efficiency and support a moratorium on data centers.
