The Buffalo Bills will visit the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Sunday, Oct. 18, with Buffalo entering the Week 6 matchup at 4-1 and Las Vegas at 3-2. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. Eastern, or 1:25 p.m. Pacific, with coverage on CBS and Paramount+.
Buffalo is coming off a 37-34 overtime win over the Los Angeles Rams on Oct. 12. The Bills stayed on the West Coast before Sunday's game. Buffalo has averaged 32.8 points per game, tied for the NFL's best mark, but has had nine giveaways over its past three games after going turnover-free in its first two.
Quarterback Josh Allen has thrown four interceptions and lost two fumbles during that three-game stretch. He is 50-33 in games in which he commits a turnover and 42-7 when he does not, according to statistics cited in the game preview.
The Raiders began the season 3-0 before losing 30-27 to Kansas City on Oct. 4. Las Vegas then fell 45-17 at New England on Oct. 11. Quarterback Kirk Cousins threw for 243 yards and a touchdown in that loss and was sacked three times.
One matchup to watch is Las Vegas running back Ashton Jeanty against Buffalo's defensive front. NFL Next Gen Stats list Jeanty at 0.3 yards per rush before contact and Buffalo as allowing a league-best 0.4 yards in that category.
The game is part of a weekend that could help shape the teams' early-season direction. Buffalo will have its Week 7 bye on Oct. 25, while Las Vegas is scheduled to play the Rams that day. The Bills' late-season schedule includes a Jan. 3, 2027, game at Miami and a Week 18 home game against the New York Jets, with the Week 18 time still to be determined.
