Carthage, West Carthage residents urged to conserve water
The villages of Carthage and West Carthage were told to conserve water after a break in the main line from the reservoir to the water treatment plant.
By the ClickNNY North Country Desk
Residents in Carthage and West Carthage are being asked to conserve water until further notice because a break in the main line from the reservoir to the village water treatment plant has stopped water from flowing from the reservoir.
The water does not need to be boiled because it has already been treated. The Carthage Area Hospital Walk-In Clinic is closed because of the break. Questions can be directed to the village clerk’s office at (315) 493-1060, option 1.
