Clayton hosts two-day New York rural health symposium
A two-day New York State Rural Health Symposium is being held this week at the Thousand Islands Harbor Hotel in Clayton.

The 2026 New York State Rural Health Symposium is being held Thursday and Friday at the Thousand Islands Harbor Hotel in Clayton. The event is focused on health care challenges facing rural communities, including emergency medical services, senior care and mental health care.
Organizers said 214 people attended the first day. The symposium is scheduled to continue Friday at the hotel.
