Sally Palao has spent decades helping lead Ogdensburg Command Performances, the organization formed in 1992 when local volunteers reorganized Ogdensburg Community Players and adopted a new name focused on professional touring productions.
The group was founded in 1963 by eight Ogdensburg residents. Since the 1992 reorganization, nearly 1 million adults and children have attended its performances. Palao helped build connections with booking agents and arrange shows for the George Hall Auditorium at Ogdensburg Free Academy.
