Ogdensburg City Council selected J.E. Sheehan Contracting of Potsdam as the preferred developer for part of the former Diamond National site.
The proposal calls for a $175,000 purchase of property for commercial boat repair, marina and storage facilities. The site covers 15.4 acres at 1-2 Madison Ave. and is a former paper mill property owned by the city since 1992. The city spent nearly $3 million on its cleanup.
