Ogdensburg water billing plan would tie charges to usage
A report says Ogdensburg plans to change residential water billing from a uniform fee to charges based on water use.
By the ClickNNY North Country Desk
Ogdensburg is planning to change how homeowners are billed for water, moving from a uniform fee to a system based on how much water each household uses.
The report also says the Remington Museum of Art is considering demolishing a home dating to the late 1800s because the property would require at least $5 million in work. North Country businesses are also seeing increased demand for wood pellets used for home heating.
