The St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce plans to host United Helpers CEO Todd Amo for the second episode of its “Chamber Chat” digital series at 1 p.m. Nov. 4. The program will be held on Zoom and will focus on leadership, regional economic development and doing business across Northern New York.
Chamber staff members Ben Dixon and Tom Graser are scheduled to join Amo for the discussion. The event is part of a series intended to connect North Country business and community leaders with the public.
Amo became United Helpers’ CEO on May 28 after Stephen Knight retired. He joined the organization in 2002, became administrator of Sparx in 2013 and was promoted to executive vice president of operations in 2015. He is the organization’s fourth CEO.
United Helpers began in 1898 as an orphanage and now provides senior care, behavioral health services and residential homes through 18 service lines and multiple companies.
The Chamber’s events calendar is available at business.visitstlc.com/events. The Chamber can also be reached at 315-386-4000 for information about the webcast and registration.
