The Town of Watertown plans to switch from clear bags to stickers for trash brought to its transfer station. The Town Council approved selling the stickers at the town office and transfer station, with each sticker priced at $3.50.
Residents will be able to use bags roughly the size of the current 30-by-36-inch bags. The change will take effect after the town’s existing bag supply is used. The transfer station is at 19624 Heines Road and is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
